What I Hope You Feel When You Wear Amae

I make jewelry, but I don’t really think I’m selling jewelry.
Yoga has taught me that so much of life is a practice.
Courage is a practice. Letting go is a practice. Beginning again is a practice. Loving ourselves, trusting ourselves, finding our way back to what matters—all of it takes practice.
That’s where Amae comes from.
When you choose a piece for yourself, I hope it’s because something about it speaks to where you are right now.
Maybe you need courage. Maybe you’re beginning again. Maybe you need a reminder of your strength. Or maybe something wonderful is happening and you want to carry that feeling with you.

And just like yoga, the practice isn’t about getting it right every day.
Sometimes we simply need something that brings us back.
